In order to get these discounts on Brittany ferries through Holiday France or Chez Nous travellers must obtain the travel code linked to their chosen property ie direct from the holiday home owner. Normally these are given when the holiday maker has agreed to let a property.

The nearest ports to our cottages are Roscoff and St malo the trip from these takes around 90 mins. Plymouth to Roscoff and Portsmouth to St Malo are served by Brittany Ferries which owns Holiday France Direct www.holidayfrancedirect.co.uk/discounted-travel/index.html
However the Portsmouth to Caen service leaves you a 3hr30 trip to Brittany due to great (free)motorway. Portsmouth to Cherbourg leaves a 3hr30 - 4 hr trip due to the lack of motorways though it is a nice drive. Portsmouth -Cherbourg is the cheapest of the Brittany Ferries routes.
To get your discount quote one has to acquire the code from us. We are normally not able to give this code until a firm booking has been made but this is not always convenient to travellers! It must be understood that our codes are unique to the properties in our advert.

AIRLINES TO BRITTANY PLUS CHEAP CAR HIRE

Airlines go to Brest and Dinard with the usual hire car facilities.These airports are within 1.30hrs or less from our houses.
Ryan Air has flights out of Luton(Brest) and Stansted, East Midlands,for Brest.Get to Dinard* nr St Malo in an hour from Bristol or Birmingham!

START DATES AND CHEAPER TRAVEL
In the High Season start days are Fridays for the Granary and La Belle Fontaine. The other gites have Saturday start dates though these could be altered if circumstances permit.
Thursday outward sailings qualify as mid week fares as do Friday return legs.These are especially useful for Fri - Fri lets!
In the mid season start dates can be more flexible. We try to match start dates to the cheaper fares and in the end it depends on how the first bookings fall.
